Innovations

The SAACIWCE has introduced innovative low cost technologies for addressing the safety, health and environmental problems faced by workers particularly the vulnerable segments of the workforce like women, young persons and children. Here we would like to introduce the major breakthroughs we have achieved in addressing the workplace health and safety problems of vulnerable workers through low cost innovations:

Millions of workers, mostly girls and women work on carpet weaving looms, which create grave health and safety hazards for them. The SAACIWCE with the help of ILO, designed an award winning carpet weaving loom, which helps mitigate the problems of these workers.

In 2012, traditional fodder cutter (Tokka) was ergonomically designed into a new safe fodder cutter which has lower risk of occupation and health and safety problems.
